WHAT IS CHURCH SEASON?
Church Season is a collection of reproducible resource pages
integrating thematic seasonal ideas with practical "hands-on" techniques
readily usable in the life of the local church and easily catalogued in
a three-ring binder.
HOW IS IT ORGANIZED?
Resource pages are organized into three sections per Church year:
Advent / Christmas / Epiphany, Lent / Easter, and Pentecost / Ordinary
Time. They are color coded by season. The pre-punched pages
are filed in
Church Season's three-ring binder which contains eight
topical dividers - Overview, Worship, Education, Nurture, Outreach, Special
Helps, Resources, Notes.
WHY A NOTEBOOK?
A notebook is durable, expandable, and easy to use. But the best
part of using a notebook is that the information doesn't get "lost" in
stacks of back issues. With the 8 1/2 by 11 inch notebook pages already
coordinated, coded, and referenced, the ideas can be retrieved, shared,
and then refiled for future use. A one-of-a-kind system for organized
communication among church leaders.
WHO CAN USE IT?
The practical ideas suggested in Church Season offer creative
approaches that can be immediately implemented by all leadership areas
in a church from paid staff to volunteers and committees, who together
with God's Spirit work to enliven and renew the local congregation.
WHO CREATES CHURCH SEASON?
Church Season is created and published by Active Learning Associates,
Inc. (ALA) - Phyllis & Ken Wezeman, Ann & Ron Liechty, and Judy
Chase - a group providing creative choices for experiential learning within
congregations and communities. The ALA partners
are experienced authors, educators, and religious leaders. They have published
hundreds of books and articles enjoyed by an ecumenical audience around
the world.
WHAT DOES CHURCH SEASON COST?
Volume 6 is $44.95 (plus $5 shipping.) Volumes 2, 4, and 5 are
now each $22.50 (plus $5 shipping.)
